Bram De Ridder is a postdoctoral researcher in applied history at KU Leuven. He conducts research on the methodological development of applied history, with a particular interest in current challenges around border management.
For complex challenges an interdisciplinary synthesis can be more important and more relevant than technical and disciplinary expertise. Global problems require an international synthesis.
