Christopher Schwartz is an American researcher focused on counter-disinformation and cybersecurity. He completed his doctorate in philosophy under Prof. Dr. Pattyn of the Institute of Philosophy at KU Leuven in Belgium, and is currently a postdoctoral research associateĀ at the Global Cybersecurity Institute of the Rochester Institute of Technology where he is researching deepfakes and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI). Previously, he worked as journalist in the former Soviet Union and Central Asia.
For complex challenges an interdisciplinary synthesis can be more important and more relevant than technical and disciplinary expertise. Global problems require an international synthesis.
