Villő Bernád obtained an Integrated Master in Natural Schiences at the University of Southhampton (UK) and is now working on a PhD at University College Dublin, studying the effect of waterlogging on barley under field controlled conditions using high-throughput phenotyping.
For complex challenges an interdisciplinary synthesis can be more important and more relevant than technical and disciplinary expertise. Global problems require an international synthesis.
