Biointeractions & Plant Health, Wageningen University
Coming from a background in horticulture, Johan Bremmer feels at home in applied research, where he can contribute to strengthening this sector. He enjoys working at the intersection of public and private issues and focus on themes where he can contribute to economic strengthening and sustainability. He often does this in the role of leader of multidisciplinary projects. More specifically, Johan Bremmer isĀ involved in plant health, which concerns both crop protection and phytosanitary risk management.
For complex challenges an interdisciplinary synthesis can be more important and more relevant than technical and disciplinary expertise. Global problems require an international synthesis.
